I love this in sepia - I haven't a clue what it is though.
Shrews are part of the vole family rather than mole family. They look like mice except for their long snout. The much prefer worms and slugs to bulbs. I think it's mice that prefer the bulbs.
Thanks Henrietta, for your kind comment. To answer your question...It is not a "manual" painting. The basic is a photo. I completed it in Photoshop using different overlayers, textures and layer modes. I love playing around with PS, but I´m not very good at it. I use "undo" until I´m (almost) satisfied with what I see. I hope this is the answer to your question. Kram Randi
