Texture processing
Here is a picture where I shoot quite often, my bed. In the afternoon sun is shining to my bedroom so there is enough light to shoot and I soften hard light with thin white curtains. So this is my "studio" most often, not very pro but it is good enough to me:)

ReplyDeleteHow creative your are for your photo studio. Nice that you shared that with readers.

ReplyDeleteI love your "studio"! mine is near the balcony :D great processing of the flowers, I need to learn to mask :D
ReplyDeleteVery kind to share all this with us ...
ReplyDeleteWho cares if it isn't pro...it's fabulous! Your photos never cease to amaze me! Your florist must love you!
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial...and gorgeous photo!
Another gorgeous photo Henrietta. Love the textures. I had to laugh because I use my dining room table for my studio in just the same way you use your bed. V
ReplyDeleteReally special. Love your studio.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, Teresa
ReplyDeleteAmazing results ~ Really beautiful. Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this. I just wanted a visual of how you manage to capture such great images. But you are very talented. This is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThe finished product is Very professional! My studio is in my bedroom too, but never thought to set it up on the bed! And I use the back deck sometimes.
ReplyDeleteOn the BG layer, how did you get the rosy color?
I too am wondering about "homesick." Where is home?
Thanks for sharing some of your "secrets" Henrietta. Your photos are always so beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteOooooh I really love that. It looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot. I love that you showed your "studio" as well. Great lighting!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are amazing! The blossoms are beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us your studio and sharing your processing techniques! Now I see possibilities in my own house. :) Great processing work.
ReplyDeleteWe make do with what we have and you get wonderful results!
Janie2-Blog name homesick is cause I'm always missing home, when I'm at work or anywhere than at home. It might be little wrong maybe the right word is homesickness but the shirt version sounds better:)
ReplyDeleteHootnanny-On the BG layer, how did you get the rosy color?
ReplyDeleteIn photoshop CS you go to Image, adjustments, photo filter and I used warming filter 85 density about 35%. It very handy to give some warm light to the picture, sorry I didn't remember to mention that.
My blog name "story" you can read what I have write to Janie2
Kiva kun sulla on hyvä paikka kotona kuvata. Oma studio kullan kallis =)
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos! It isn´t necessary with professional equipment to take great photos.
Hi Henrietta,
ReplyDeleteI like your studio. We photographers always have to make the best of the situation.
It sounds like you are not happy with the result of the election. Funny with the Facebook group.
All the best,
Ingrid xoxo
Ingrid-No I'm not happy about election result but what can we do...just have to live with that for next for years:)
ReplyDeleteOh, Henrietta! I love your photo...but I'm totally fascinated with your 'studio.' I wonder if I could do something similar? Your photos are always so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy photography setups are just as simple. It just goes to show you that things don't have to be complicated to produce something pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love that you have showed us how you do your work. So awesome!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love your processing!
ReplyDeleteHenrietta this is so pretty. I love the beautiful images that you share in texture tuesday.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week!
Now I know what you meant on your comment in my blog about taking pics on your bed. And as someone else said, the result photos are really professional. This is genious, going arround your house looking for the best lightning.
ReplyDeleteI just learned that I'll be doing my clerkship in Oulu! :D (This was my first option!!)
If it produces images like these, it's a great studio!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos. And THANKS for the picture of your studio! Now I can set one up just like yours! Thank you Thank you! You opened my eyes to another way of seeing! And thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Beautifully done :)
