Hyvää juhannusta
Hyvää juhannusta kaikille, riktig härlig midsommar:)
Today is midsummer celebration weekend in Finland and Sweden. It is the celebration for light and beauty of midsummer (except it is raining and dark right now:)
We have light here in Espoo 19 hours and in northern Finland like in Utsjoki the sun doesn't go down at all until 28.7.

ReplyDelete.... strange light ...
all the best
So hard to imagine light for 19 hours as for us, on the other side of the world, right now, it is dark at 5pm and the sun won't rise again till 7am. We really are opposites!
ReplyDeleteLove the daisy on your hand - such a simply perfect little flower.

ReplyDeleteAww, your photos remind me of my home country, even though I'm not from so far up in the north. And sometimes I am homesick. Ugh. :-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning photos you've shared. I would have to have window covers that shut out ALL the light of nighttime to be able to sleep.
ReplyDeleteMy post for today: Fact or Fiction...you decide.
Thanks for the visit Wednesday...your comments are always treasured!
Lovely first shot Henrietta. It must be so very strange when the sun does not go down at all. But I have a feeling I'd be out all night with my camera :-)

ReplyDeleteDaisy for sure, you are so vibrant my lady. You have all of us on pins and needles to see your flowers each day. Do you ever sleep?
ReplyDeleteShasta Daisy's orginated by Luther Burbank in Santa Rosa, CA. I live just on the other side of this town, and have been to his gardens many times. It is a great place to stop by if anyone is this way. Lots of history, great photo opportunities. However you Henrietta have the market on photos of flowers!
OPPPS, spelling mistake on my previous post to you. I did not type greiving!
