It is simple
Sometimes it is just so simple. I was sharpening pen and I noticed how beautiful that "trash" was (sorry don't know the right english word for this). I took the trash, went to the kitchen and put it to white plate. White porcelain plate reflects light so nicely and window gives little light since it was dark rainy day.
So this is my super studio, as you can see nothing fancy just something what we all can do. Above is the macro picture and I did little cropping. I like how the light comes trough the trash and I like the shadow. Sometimes simple things works, right:)
Have a creative weekend

You clever woman - looks great, and I agree that you always should try to find the beauty in the small and ordinary things.
ReplyDeleteI´m back home - and today I´ve posted pics with jellies and such, come and see! They are totally cool! :-)
When I looked at your shot I wondered what it was - you are very clever. Good shot!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea - a little studio with white dishes. Great work - beautiful photo. Have a nice weekend !
ReplyDeleteKiva oivallus ja postaus.
ReplyDeleteLove you honesty. Sometimes simple is equally as good as complex, and more satisfying. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteSinulla on silmää kauneudelle ja mielikuvitusta, sehän on nähtävä ensin sielunsa silmin, eikös?:)
ReplyDeleteTeroitusmoska on kaunista - olen moisella moskalla osallistunut LEM-haasteeseen ja voittanut. ;) Joten lykkyä! Tuo on kyllä kaunis kuva ja sun studio muistuttaa hyvin paljon omaani usein. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. So simple but so clever.
ReplyDeleteYour super studio looks a bit like mine.
Aivan mahtavaa! Näkemisestä ja varsinkin katsomisesta moni asia on kiinni.
ReplyDeleteTällä menen ensi viikkoon:))
Hyvää viikonloppua!
Simply brilliant! It's both pretty and interesting...I love that I had to keep looking at it for a bit to figure out what it was I was looking at. (and I'm not sure either, but would it be called 'pencil shavings', maybe...?)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture! Love your studio!
ReplyDeleteYour focus is so sharp! Beautiful image of something so ordinary.
ReplyDeleteI so agree -- it's those little things that often go unnoticed that make for some of the best photo subjects. Love it, Henrietta. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how something so simple as a pencil sharpening can be so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKeep Creating!

What a wonderful eye you have for beauty! Love that shot.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you back this Sunday. I also hope Linky isn't quite as tempermental. :)
Have a wonderful weekend.
Very clever! And I love that you showed the big picture! It's crazy how something like that can be pretty. Thanks for helping me think outside the box. ~ Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow that's really neat!
ReplyDeleteSo creative! I love it and I love your processing.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! The shadow reminds me of one of those inkblot tests that you had to say what you saw. (I see a butterfly.)
ReplyDeleteNow that is really cool - love it.
ReplyDeleteLove this... so creative! =)
ReplyDeleteGreat. True, we can find beauty everywhere, even in such simple things.
ReplyDeleteHieno.
Incredible light coming in that window!!! Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous! I would never have guessed this was a pencil shaving. Thank you also for the simple tips on how to get a great shot with basic tools around the house. Hope you have a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteLight Trigger: OUR ENTRY
lovely shot, the shadow balances it perfectly...my studio is very similar to yours :)
ReplyDeleteI remember when you posted a photo of the "studio" in another room sometime last year. You use light so beautifully, Henrietta...and I think the pencil "trash" is pretty special!
ReplyDeleteNice abstract macro. I use my white kitchen countertops all the time. :)
ReplyDeleteThat trash is gorgeous. I love when people find the beauty in things all around them....even in things that we would normally dispose of. Life is beautiful. : )
ReplyDeleteAmazing how beautiful some pencil sharpenings can look.
ReplyDeleteSimple is the best!
ReplyDeleteTosi kiva postaus !
ReplyDeleteIhanan havainnollinen kurkkaus valokuvauksen maailmaan.... sillä nuo lopulliset tuotokset ovat aina niin mykistävän upeita. Siis ettei sitä tule mieleenkään, mistä tilanteesta kuva on lähtöisin ; )
Fabulous composition and lighting, perfect in every way!
ReplyDeleteUpeasti lamppu välähtää! Onnea! Hyvää sunnuntaita!!!
